Happy Dance Collection, Idolmaster for the Wii?

Happy Dance Collection“, as the name suggests, is a game where the player will be using the Wiimote to perform all sorts of actions to dance in time to the game according to Famitsu. There will be a total of 24 songs including “Kibun Joujou” and “Pop Star” (I think this is the right one!) both of which were used in Ouendan 2. Miis stored on the Wii will appear in the backgrounds to cheer and the popular talent Nana Mizuki (who voiced characters such as Moka from “Vampire + Rosario“) will be doing the voice for the main female role.

The visuals really remind me of “Idolm@ster” for the Xbox 360 except it has a male lead too and isn’t an idol management sim… It’s even got a song from that game!

I wonder how well this will work…? Just trying to ring the bell in rhythm in Zack and Wiki was tricky enough never mind these varying hand motions.

Speaking of dancing games, Suzumiya Haruhi will be getting one on the Wii too. I guess this one will be more import friendly than the PSP visual novel game.
