The first game stirred up quite a bit of commotion on Western gaming news sites and some even believed that SNK were joking at the time of its announcement. Who thought there would really be a commercial game where you touch lolitas on the DS?

However, it really happened and with the sequel “DokiDoki Majou Shinpan 2″ ready for July 31st, it looks like the “witch hunting” game was pretty successful. Now it’s even coming in a limited edition version (NSFW).

 

Once again, the hero of the story is Akuji Nishimura who has now been forced to transfer to a new school “Tenoumori Academy” to continue his witch hunting. This time however, he has a very timid little devil named Kuro as his partner.

If you don’t know already, the idea is go around in a visual novel game to find suspicious girls who maybe witches. You then battle them in a mini game and touch them in various places to make their heart race. If they’re really a witch then an emblem will appear.

New features in the game will allow players to magnify on the areas they want to touch and, characters from the prequel will also be accessible via the “DokiDoki Checker” allowing the use of the mic to communicate.

The limited edition of the game will contain:

• Two Nendoroid figures; One of Maho Akai and one of Kuron.
• CD containing a drama, concept art and PV.
• Mascots of Angel Lulu and Devil Kuro for your mobile.
• The student handbook for Tenoumori Gakuen.
