Code Geass R2, Orange Range Doing the Theme Songs
I haven’t been keeping up on the latest details about season two of Code Geass like the fans over at Animesuki but, it just emerged on Famitsu today that Orange Range will be the ones singing the new opening and ending songs. They will be “O2 ~Oh~Two~” and “Shiawase Neiro” respectively.
I’m not sure what to make of this. The band’s done some fun catchy songs such as “Monkey Magic”, “Viva Rock” and “Shanghai Honey” but pretty much none that I’ve put on my DAP to listen to. “Hana” was a close one though. Somehow, I just can’t imagine how their rap songs will work with Code Geass but then again, I guess it can’t be worst than the second opening “Kaidoku Funou” from season one which no one bought…

I have the Natural and Orange Range albums lying around, but never really got to listening to them… I wonder if they’re going to make anything of Orange Ball/1st Contact/Musiq caliber again myself. Oh well, one can always hope.
